Here are pictures of the boys at 5 1/2 weeks old with Ann doing the stacking. Ann will be getting one of the puppies, when they are nine weeks old. They got their first shots today at 6 weeks old, and all got a clean bill of health from our vet. They all weighed between 8 1/2 and 9 pounds. Their dew claws are done, first worming is done, and first shots are done. Next up is BAER testing next week to determine whether they are all bilateral hearing. They all do hear, but will get confirmation on unilateral or bilateral. They are so cute, it is really hard not to spend all waking hours at home with them. They play ball like crazy, Dodger is aptly named, because he loves to carry around and chase a tennis ball. We are starting to work on house training, trying to take them out of their pen when they wake up, so they can potty outside. They are little peeing and pooping machines right now. Going through tons of newspapers and puppy pads. Lori Finlayson and Deby Harber are coming down this weekend to help me evaluate them, so hopefully after this weekend, I'll know which one I'm keeping.
Lori has been so helpful to me in my learning to show the dogs, and now through the breeding, whelping, and evaluation of the puppies. She is a wonderful teacher!
