Puppy Update- 4 days old
Here are pictures of the Vegas and Victory pups at 4 days old. We are trying to get over the heartbreak of losing 2 puppies, and praying that the other 4 thrive and grow up to be beautiful, wonderful dogs. Vegas is a very good mother, but is still determined to dig under the deck and I think she believes the puppies would be better off under the deck than in the nice warm whelping box in the house. Sigh... Vegas is also refusing all dog food, and will only eat people food right now..This has been stressful.

Try adding small towels or shredded paper. She would like things to be cozier, I think. They like to build nests and in a sterile box like that the think the pups are too exposed.
