Life with LLL Victory Dalmatians and Show Results

Our dogs and horses keep us hopping, lots of exercise, lots of time spent taking care of, training, and just enjoying the gifts of being able to have and afford these wonderful creations.  Here are some recent pictures of the dogs.
Jackie and Dodger from the Victory/Vegas litter, grandkids of Argus/Read and Jack/Whoopie.

Vegas (liver), Victory in back, Dodger in front, and Jackie on right.  Vegas and Victory and kids.

Victory.  He was a real twit at the dog show, too many girls in season, and he could not focus nor would he even look at treats.  He only mildly looked at his horse hoof (one of his favorite things and something he finds very interesting at home) for about two seconds and then said forget it.  He did not get any points at the show.  He won the stud dog class, but was the only entry.

Wishbone, at nearly 15 years old, living the good life.  He still sees very well and eats good, loves walking the 1/4 mile to the barn twice a day, but his hips are nearly gone, and he cannot hear at all any more.  He is our Dalmatian rescue boy that we've had for 13 years, and is quite a pal.

Jackie with her antler and her ribbons.  She did not get any points but was reserve winners bitch the last day.  I was proud of her, because there were a lot of really nice girls entered, and she behaved beautifully.

Dodger with his antler and ribbons, with Jackie looking on.  No points for Dodger, but the goal for him was to behave and be examined with no fussing, and he passed with flying colors.  He has Vegas' personality, very picky about who he decides he likes.  Jackie has Victory's personality, loves everybody, just wants to hug and kiss people and be petted.  It has been so interesting to see the personalities develop on these two pups, both treated the same, lots of attention, training, exercise, taking them places, people coming here, and yet they are quite different.
